Our story
We at Stanton Bowls club will be hosting our annual 3 wood triples competition with all proceeds going to Charity. This year we have decided to give all monies raised to the family of Delilah. She is a 3 year old granddaughter of one of our players who has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma which is a rare cancer affecting children under 5. A tumour was found which it has now spread to legs causing difficulties in walking. She has gone under blast chemo to try to get on top of it. Everyone remains positive so our thoughts are with Dils and her family. To enter a team please contact us direct.
We are limited to 28 teams which will play 4 group games with the winners of each group playing for the title. We will also have a 3rd/4th playoff with each best runner up from each group playing. Each game will be 8 ends or 1 hours play with the finals being 9 ends. £30 per team with cash prizes for the winners.
We will have teas, coffees and bacon rolls in the morning. Burgers and Hotdogs in the afternoon with cold snacks available throughout the day. All money raised on refreshments will be donated to the total. Bar will be open throughout and we are looking to get a bouncy castle for the younger visitors. Everyone is welcome to attend throughout the day to show support for this great cause.
