We completed the perfect season in the Bury & District League Division 1 for 2025. A unbeaten season winning all 18 games in the league for a record points haul. Never did we think that we could go all the way undefeated. We also clinched the Bullen Cup which is the Charity Cup for Area D, Raising money for good causes.
We at Stanton Bowls club will be hosting our annual 3 wood triples competition with all proceeds going to Charity. This year we have decided to give all monies raised to the family of Delilah. She is a 3 year old granddaughter of one of our players who has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma which is a rare cancer affecting children under 5. A tumour was found which it has now spread to legs causing difficulties in walking. She has gone under blast chemo to try to get on top of it. Everyone remains positive so our thoughts are with Dils and her family. To enter a team please contact us direct.
