Captain's Charity Day 2025

We at Stanton Bowls club will be hosting our annual 3 wood triples competition with all proceeds going to Charity. This year we have decided to give all monies raised to the family of Delilah. She is a 3 year old granddaughter of one of our players who has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma which is a rare cancer affecting children under 5. A tumour was found which it has now spread to legs causing difficulties in walking. She has gone under blast chemo to try to get on top of it. Everyone remains positive so our thoughts are with Dils and her family. To enter a team please contact us direct.

Roy Orbison Tribute

We have Dave Collison's Roy Orbison Tribute coming to Stanton Bowls Club on Saturday 2nd August. Doors open at 7pm with the 1st part starting around 8.30pm. £5.00 entry fee with tickets available to pre book and entry is payable on the door. Please note that we are limited to numbers so please book to avoid disappointment.

We provide all the necessary equipment for our coaching and training programs. Just bring yourself, some flat shoes and a positive attitude!

Are there competitions held at the club?

Yes, we regularly host various friendly competitions and tournaments for our members to participate in and showcase their skills. We also host open tournaments so check out the calendar for dates.  

What type of bowls do you play?

We are a English flat lawn bowls club who are affiliated with both Federation and Bowls England. We also play carpet bowls during the winter providing friendlies, league and cup competitions.
